Chelsea’s Belgium striker, Romelu Lukaku, is expected to complete his £24 million move to Everton after tweeting, “Time to write a new chapter”.
The 21-year-old striker posted a picture of himself on a plane earlier today (July 30) and will now ink a five-year-old contract with the Toffees, where he spent last season on loan.
The Belgium international represented his country at the World Cup in Brazil at the World Cup and had been linked with a transfer away from Stamford Bridge throughout this summer.
Everton had been desperate to land him on a permanent basis after he scored 15 goals last season.
