MTN Y’elloTide Brings Another Bout of Joy to Lagos Communities

MTN Nigeria’s exciting Y’elloTide festive campaign continued its Lagos tour with another series of activities that brought smiles to residents at Oniru New Market in Victoria Island and the MTN Head Office environment in Falomo, Lagos.

The tech company’s Y’ello Santa, part of MTN Y’elloTide, distributed essential food items and shopping vouchers to excited workers, traders, and passersby at both locations throughout the day.

The activation began at Oniru New Market where traders, artisans, and families gathered around to receive festive packages. Recipients were treated to bags of rice, noodles, and other essential food items, alongside shopping vouchers redeemable at retail outlets across the city.

The MTN Y’elloTide team then proceeded to the company’s Head Office in Falomo where more Nigerians received rewards. The atmosphere was vibrant as beneficiaries expressed gratitude for the timely support during the festive season.

This is part of MTN Y’elloTide’s season of surprise that transforms communities across Nigeria with surprise visits and giveaways. The MTN Y’elloTide campaign, which features various offerings including Y’ello Data Bundles, Y’ello Weddings, and Y’ello Gifting experiences, aims to ease holiday expenses for Nigerian families.

MTN Y’elloTide represents the telecommunications company’s commitment to exciting Nigerians and reinforcing its brand promise of being a network that gives back to communities. The initiative spans multiple states across the country, reaching Nigerians in urban and suburban areas.

Modupe Kadiri, Chief Financial Officer of MTN Nigeria explained that participation is open to everyone. “As long as you’re in any venue where we’re doing a yellow tide, you can take part in the lucky dip and by chance get one of the lucky gift items,” he said.

The Y’ello Santa activation will continue visiting various locations across Lagos and other Nigerian cities throughout December as part of MTN’s commitment to uplifting communities during the holiday season.
