Mary Konye, 21, has been found guilty of throwing acid on her friend’s face –and she’s due to be sentenced on March 7, 2014, in London, the United Kingdom.
Naomi Oni, the victim, was attacked on December 30, 2012, on her way home from work (at Victoria’s Secret lingerie shop in Westfield Stratford, East London).
Konye trailed her, disguised in a niqab –and threw the corrosive liquid on her face, neck, arms, leg and body.
Naomi Oni, now 22, broke down following the guilty verdict.
