NFF approached me to replace Keshi – German tactician claims

A German coach has claimed that he has been approached by Nigeria’s football governing body – Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) – to replace incumbent coach, Stephen Keshi, supersport.com reports.

60-year-old former Bayer Leverkusen manager, Christoph Daum, told a German website that he turned down the offer last week.

The NFF is yet to renew Keshi’s contract after it expired after the Brazil 2014 World Cup in June and he is currently on a ‘game per game’ contract.
