Lagos was aglow with excitement as the highly anticipated launch of The Macallan Harmony Collection Inspired by Intense Arabica took place on Thursday, July 20, 2023, at the exquisite Koi Restaurant & Lounge, Victoria Island.

The event brought together a select group of influential culture shapers, celebrities and business leaders, including media personality and Vice President, Marketing, Wakanow, Gbemi Olateru-Olagbegi; renowned fashion designer, Mai Atafo; GM M-Kopa Nigeria, Babajide Durojaiye, Nollywood actor Eso Dike; beauty queen and Miss Africa 2022, Precious Okoye and more.
The resplendent guests — most of whom would later find a sip or more of the coffee-inspired whisky irresistible — first ventured into small talks mostly lost in the sound of the symphony of music. In that mix, a keen pair of eyes would not miss the varied looks of elegance around the venue. Glamorous outfits matched the mood as cocktails and canapes were then moved around.
Lights, Camera, Action!
Not so far away, a coffee ritual area stood, complementing the visually tempting coffee bean station. Soon enough, the guests started to flash bright smiles at the camera, before all were invited to pair coffee and whisky with the help of expert baristas.
As the evening turned into night, the exquisite guests revelled in the velvety notes of coffee and the ultra-premium aroma of whisky, and they knew they had experienced a remarkable evening — one they would seek to recreate, time and time again.
