Encomium
It was a two week carnival-like birthday celebration of the Lion of Okada, Chief Gabriel Osawaru Igbinedion at 85.
Among other prominent Nigerians at the celebration were Two former President of Nigeria, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, Goodluck Jonathan, while Royal institutions were fully represented by the Ooni of Ife, Oba Enitan Adeyeye Ogunwusi (Ojaja II), Alafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi, Christian Associations of Nigeria and Pentecostal fellowship of Nigeria were all in attendance to celebrate a living legend who pioneered the first private university in Nigeria, Igbinedion University, Okada.
The host governor, Godwin Obaseki came with his deputy and members of his cabinet.
