One in 20 Britons have affairs with neighbour – poll

In Britain, one in 20 people are currently enjoying a fling with a neighbour, according to a poll.

The poll – conducted by TV soap Neighbours – revealed that these affairs with the girl or boy next door last four-and-a-half months on average and that 80 percent of the romances are punctured by friends, fellow neighbours or even their abandoned partners. Overall, one in ten people have either kissed, dated or had sex with a neighbour at some point in their lives, with one in five confessing to have flirted with a fellow resident at some point.

Interestingly, when it all ends in tears, one in ten cheaters move house so they never have to see their neighbourhood crush again.
