President Buhari condoles with Kwara State gov, Council of Chiefs over passing of Emir of Lafiagi

President Muhammadu Buhari commiserates with Government and people of Kwara State over passing of Emir of Lafiagi, Alhaji Sa’adu Kawu Haliru, 86, sympathizing with the Council of Traditional Rulers, who will sorely miss the wisdom and guidance of the royal father.

The President condoles with family members and friends of the revered traditional ruler, who reigned on the throne of his fathers for 46 years, initiating and sustaining peaceful co-existence in the domain, especially in accommodating other ethnic groups and nationalities.

President Buhari believes the Emir of Lafiagi’s legacy of hospitality, harmonious living and encouraging civic responsibility should be sustained.

The President prays that the Almighty God will accept the soul of the departed and comfort his family.
