The estranged parents of one-year old Morireoluwa, Oluyinka Davids (33) and Funmi Davids (30) have now decided to unite in the interest of their lucky daughter.

Preparations for the four family members of Mr. and Mrs. Oluyinka Davids commenced on Friday, February 27, 2015, when PZ Cussons officially handed over all largesse to the winner, Morireoluwa Davids.

ENCOMIUM Weekly gathered that all documents for the journey would be handed over to the baby’s parents in a couple of days. However, both parents, the baby and another member of the Davids’ family or the baby’s nanny would be sponsored to travel to the United States of America for a couple of days or weeks.

Aside the trip to Disneyland, USA, other prizes attached to the winnings are that baby winner, Morireoluwa would be the face of PZ Cussons product for one year. During the trip, the family would be lodged in an undisclosed 5-star hotel in the United States of America and the baby, during the trip would have to go out every day as she would be accompanied by PZ Cussons Baby photographers in order to be able to give account of where she visited during her stay in the US.

It could be recalled that on Sunday, February 1, 2015, mother of the baby, Funmi Davids brought another man to represent the father of the baby due to the issues she’s having with her husband.

ENCOMIUM Weekly gathered that impersonation is punishable under the law. The father of the baby, Oluyinka Davids confirmed to ENCOMIUM Weekly that he blamed PZ because they claimed she told them she was having a misunderstanding with the father of the baby and when eventually someone else showed up, they didn’t confirm before they addressed him as Mr. Oluyinka Davids as published in The Nation newspaper of February 9, 2015.

However, in a statement released by Oluyinka Davids on behalf of himself and his wife, he said, “My wife and I were able to resolve our dispute, so I granted the letter of consent as requested by PZ. Our daughter, Morireoluwa Davids, who emerged the winner of the competition, will resume her line of duties as the Queen of Cussons.

“The management of PZ is happy as much as we do to have seen the matter come to an amicable resolve.”

However, it was a day of jollification for the family of Oluyinka Davids as their daughter, Morireoluwa Davids brought them fame and fortune when she emerged the winner of this year’s edition of the Cussons Baby Moments competition.

Morireoluwa beat 298 contestants including Caleb Adedeji and Olajide Alufa to second and third places respectively. The competition was co-sponsored by Kenyan Airways, which would be providing the airline tickets for the winning family.
