A Californian teenager known as the ‘richest kid on Instagram’ has been jailed for selling a stolen iPhone on classified ads site – Craigslist.
18-year-old Param Sharma, who flaunts his wealth on Instagram with pictures of himself with multiple iPhones, was locked up at the Santa Rita jail after being handed a 90-day sentence on August 18.
But police said the phone was stolen and Sharma, who uses the Instagram user name ‘It’s Lavish B****’ and has more than 400,000 followers, is now unable to cover his $30,000 bond.
