The life of a 38-year-old woman has just been saved after a sex toy, which had been stuck inside her for ten years, was discovered by doctors.
Doctors were left stunned after X-ray results showed that a five-inch sex toy had been stuck in her vagina, causing a life-threatening urinary blockage.
The woman, an Aberdeen native, had complained of tiredness and was being treated for weight loss when the astonishing discovery was made by the doctors; she has, however, made a full recovery after having the toy removed by surgeons.
She said she had used the toy during a drunken night with a partner 10 years before and could not remember removing it.
