I was born in the UK but moved back for primary school in Corona, Ikoyi, Lagos then after that I went back to the UK for secondary school which was a boarding school called St. Teresa’s. I did my GCSE’S and A- levels and then studied law in The University of Manchester.

How would you describe your journey into the media industry?

My journey has been an extremely turbulent one but amazingly fun and exciting. It’s the passion and drive that have really kept me going.

Why presenting?

I had always had a passion for entertainment and with that I developed the desire to model, dance and act. Presenting was just something that I hadn’t necessarily discovered at the time but deep down I had always wanted to explore.

Describe your most challenging periods as a presenter?

My most challenging period was at the beginning. I was so worried that people wouldn’t like me or that I wasn’t good enough because it wasn’t like I’d had any sort of training. I had to learn on the job and that always frightened me. However, after a while I just decided to be me and accept one only gets better.

What do you love most about your job?

I love the spontaneity. You just don’t know who you are going to meet and where.

What was Moet doing before Soundcity?

Before Soundcity, I was in the university modelling and studying to be a lawyer.

What influences your dress sense?

My dress sense is hugely influenced by the type of body I have. I dress to embrace my curves but at the same time I wear what I believe will make me comfortable yet glamorous.

What inspired your hairstyle?

I have always been a lover of short hair and switching up my hairstyles from time to time. I love looking edgy and different. I would say my sense of creativity and individualism inspired my hairstyles over time.

What’s your favourite wardrobe staple?

My favourite wardrobe staple are my maxi dresses. I adore them because they are extremely comfortable but so chic and with the right accessories you can wear them anywhere.

Career wise everyone should be expecting constant hard work and projects that will only take the Moët Abebe brand further.
