Science has revealed the word that turns us on the most and guess what – it’s a four letter word.
Psychologist, Mark Allen Thornton of Harvard University (USA) used data from around 300,000 erotic stories and 65,000 authors who published their work on fiction site Literotica, to find who writes what kind of sex – and who likes reading about it.
He found that the most popular word is ‘cock’. In all stories, by far the most commonly-used word was ‘cock’ – either because writers aren’t very imaginative when it comes to penis-based vocab, or they just fancy the word ‘cock’.
According to Thornton, about two-thirds of the stories he analysed were written by men. Other popular words he found were Pussy, Asshole, Master, Mom, Mouth, Tongue, Blood.
