Tinubu attends first public event after son’s death

Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the national leader of All Progressives Congress, attended his first public event today (Thursday, November 16, 2017) at the State House in Abuja.

Tinubu’s first son Jide passed on on Tuesday, October 31, after suffering a heart attack. The tragedy led the family’s patriarch to London (the United Kingdom) to console the wife and three children of his son.
Today, he was seen at a book launch in the State House with President Muhammadu Buhari and his deputy, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo.
The death of the young man was a devastating blow the politician described as a grave loss.
Jide Tinubu left behind his wife, three children and five siblings.
