Uzodimma urges Muslims to reflect on Muhammad’s teachings

As the Muslin faithful commemorate the birth of Prophet Muhammad today, Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State has urged his followers to reflect on his teachings, embracibg the values of charity, empathy, kindness, unity, love for one another, etc which the great prophet preached.

The Governor made the appeal in his goodwill message to the Muslim Ummah in Imo State and other parts of the country who are celebrating the Eid el Maloud.

Governor Uzodimma’s message which he personally wrote reads: “As we commemorate the blessed birth of Prophet Muhammad SAW, I extend my warmest greetings and felicitations to the Muslim ummah in Imo State and across the nation. This occasion is a moment of profound significance, celebrating the birth of the greatest messenger of peace and compassion.

“Prophet Muhammad’s teachings continue to inspire us all, fostering unity, kindness, and understanding among diverse communities. His life serves as a timeless example of humility, tolerance, and love for humanity.

“During this special day, let us reflect on his teachings, embracing the values of charity, empathy, and goodwill towards one another. May his message of peace guide us in our daily lives, bringing harmony and prosperity to our communities.

“I wish you all a joyous and blessed celebration, filled with the warmth of family and friends. May the spirit of unity and love that Prophet Muhammad brought to this world illuminate our hearts and lead us towards a brighter and more compassionate future.”
