Pop culture enthusiasts can tune in to the live broadcast and witness history in the making by 1:00 AM on Monday morning, while those who prefer to dip their toes, can watch the second prime-time broadcast at 7:00 PM that evening.
The prestigious awards that are always creating significant moments, will certainly do it again. Only All About Eve (1950); La La Land (2016) and Titanic (1997) have received more nominations than Oppenheimer’s 13 nods this year. Ben-Hur (1959); The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King (2003), and Titanic (1997) each won 11 Oscars their nomination year, and Christopher Nolan would love to see his film alongside those ‘winningest’ in history.
Film fans who haven’t seen this year’s Oscar-nominated films yet have an opportunity to catch a few of them on the M-Net channels and DStv Box Office. Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse will be broadcast on M-Net Movies 1 on 8 March at 13:25.
