We will redouble efforts towards completion of all Ogun projects before handover – Amosun

Ogun State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun has restated that he would redouble his efforts, in the twilight of his administration, towards ensuring the completion of all ongoing projects.
He said his disposition to the task ahead is shapened by his experience as an athlete, who represented the country in long distance 500m, 5000m and 18,000m races.
Speaking to newsmen, shortly after inspecting some semi-urban roads under construction in the Ogun East Senatorial District, yesterday, the governor likened his remaining two months in office, to the last lapse of a long distance race saying, “this is the time to draw more strength from within and run the more for the medal.”
The governor, who led members of his cabinet and Permanent Secretaries to inspect the Ijebu-Imushin/Owu-Ikija, Balogun-Kuku, Ikangba, Italapo, Degun and Oke-Aje market roads, said “all the drainages are ready, we are now ready for asphalting.
“All our landmark projects, such as the 250-bed ultra modern hospital, the Judiciary complex, the Ogun State Television complex, Ogere International market, Ipokia Polytechnic, Adire/Kampala modern market will be completed and commissioned by President Muhammadu Buhari”, he added.
Amosun assured that his administration “would work to the very last day, minute and second in office.”
