What causes low libido?

I will start by saying the lifestyle a person affects the person’s libido. For instance, a smoker is doing more harm than good to himself. Run away from fatty foods. There are some vegetables that help because of their composition – walnuts, almonds and ginger. Women’s libido tend to increase in their 40’s, while a man’s libido slows down in their 20’s.

What kills libido?

Having the wrong conversation at the wrong time, smoking, drinking too much. Some men think they will be more active when they drink, research has shown that too much alcohol kills libido.

What do you consider a good sex life?

There is no recipe for a good sex life. For me, I track a good sex life when I counsel people. If they are happy, it shows they have a good sex life. If a couple had high libido, it shows they have a good sex life.

Libidinal loss does not happen suddenly. Sadness, anger, hopelessness, stress, dejection, can dampen desire and lead to erectile dysfunction. Taking unhealthy food and exercise, alcohol can kill libido.

Addiction to any kind of drink could make it harder for a man to finish the sexual act. Alcohol gives that euphoric feeling initially that can later destroy sexual performance. Heavy alcohol can interfere with erection.

Obesity in men produces less of the hormone, testosterone which is important for sexual desire and producing an erection.
