The trend of celebrities having children outside wedlock is fast becoming a phenomenon in the entertainment industry, especially in the music sector.
A roll call of artistes with baby mamas would reveal virtually a handful of them play in this league, but are on different positions on the table. Some are ranked first, others second and so on. The ranking is determined by the number of baby mamas to an artiste’s credit and the number of children.
Baby mama is a term used to describe a lady who has had a child or children for a man who she is not married to.

Popular entertainer, Ayodeji Balogun, otherwise known as Wizkid, shocked the music world when news went to town that he got a son in his early 20s.
Apparently to save face, Star Boy, Wizkid denied the story and even told a publication, “Even if I have a child, I don’t think it’s something I should be ashamed of. I don’t have a child anywhere.” His baby mama is said to be Sola Ogundugu while Boluwatife is the name of his son.
The self-professed Egberi Papa I of Bayelsa, Timaya, declared delightfully, “I am now a father” after his girlfriend (Barbara), put to bed in May 2012. Two years down the lane,

The Apako Master, Terry G, whose real name is Gabriel Amanyi, couldn’t hide his excitement when his girlfriend, Nimi Omoregbe delivered a baby boy for him in the UK. The TGP Entertainment boss reportedly said he became a more responsible person since he became a father. He is yet to tie the knot with his baby mama.
He joined the league of artistes with baby mamas when his girlfriend, Adebola Olowoporoku, gave birth to a baby boy, who he described as a Sure Boy. He shared the news with friends and fans on micro-blogging social media sit, Twitter, and he is yet to settle down with the mother of his son.

The rapper initially denied the baby, but in a twist of event, Ice Prince, as he calls himself has embraced his child and named him, Jamal.
Kehinde Oladotun Oyebanjo, popularly known as K-Switch, had a baby girl in March 2014. The tot has been christened Kaleyomi Oluwaseunara Oyebanjo. She was delivered in the U.S.
