Electricity consumers in Nigeria, especially in some parts of Lagos are happy with the performance of Power Distribution Companies Discos.
Admitting, they now enjoy better services, they encouraged them to do more…
‘POWER HAS IMPROVED IN MY AREA’ – Israel Anyanwu, Ogba, Lagos
Yes, power has really improved in my area. We now enjoy “light” everyday though not on 24 hour basis.
I only hope this is not a flash in the pan. It will also be nice if the cost wouldn’t be outrageous.
‘BETTER DAYS ARE HERE’ – Mrs. Victoria Agbara, Alagbole, Ogun State
I think better days are here. The DISCOS have started performing. Power is now constant in our area (United Estate). It’s likely, the guys are afraid of Buhari who would likely revoke their operational license if they don’t perform.
‘THE SUPPLY HAS IMPROVED’ – Yeni Olabisi
We’re enjoying fairly stable electricity supply now. At least, we get light for about three days in a week unlike before when we hardly got light. I think the supply has improved. DISCOS should improve on that. I also give kudos to President Muhammadu Buhari.
We need more of that. I believe it can be better. Now, I don’t spend much money on fuel again.
‘I THINK THERE IS AN IMPROVEMENT IN POWER SUPPLY NOW’ – Ezekiel Ubekwe, Fagba
I think there is an improvement in power supply now. I live in Fagba, Lagos, light has been relatively stable. Even with that, more economic activities have evolved. People are not running their business with generator sets as much as they were doing before.
It’s now one day on, one day off which is far better than what we experienced at the beginning of the year. My only advice to the government is to reduce the tariff, it’s then I will believe we’re enjoying true dividends of democracy. As per service, it’s better now.
‘ELECTRICITY HAS IMPROVED REMARKABLY’ – Daniel Oyeyemi
Electricity has improved remarkably since President Buhari came into power. I live in Ogba, Lagos.
‘LIGHT HAS BEEN CONSTANT’ – Abidemi Idowu
Light has been constant since the new administration took over. I give them kudos for that.
