‘It’s unfounded and fictitious’, he says
Contrary to social media post, Larry Gentry, husband of famous thespian, Mercy Aigbe, has refuted any squabble in his marriage to the latter. He added that there is no iota of truth in the publications.
Speaking with encomium.ng on Friday, April 28, 2017, the Ilesa, Osun born entrepreneur further described the report as not only unfounded but outrightly fictitious, labelling those behind it as unserious and mischievous. He therefore urged the public to shun the unnecessary alarm being raised by those he further described as ill-fated souls whose aim is to destroy his union with the beautiful actress.
“My brother, hope you’re not joining those peddling unnecessary rumour about my wife and myself? There is no iota of truth in it. It’s unfounded. It’s fabricated by some useless people. Don’t mind them. All is well with us.”
We also tried getting Aigbe’s reaction to no avail as her mobile line was not reachable. The message we also sent to her was not replied. The message read, “Good evening, my sister. How true is the report on social media that you have separated from your hubby on account of physical assault? I will be expecting your response soon. Thank you!”
Meanwhile, the report has it that the sultry film maker has moved out of her matrimonial home on the allegation of battery by her husband, Gentry. Not only that, she is at the moment contemplating divorce.
But when encomium.ng contacted Gentry, he denied it all.
