Nigerians mock Metuh as he promises to refund N400 m

Just 5 months after Chief Olisa Metuh arrogantly stated that he would rather starve in detention than refund the N400 million the EFCC is trying him for, the former Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) spokesman has made a remarkable U turn.

Chief Metuh, who has had a lot of time to change his mind (5 months of trial) has through his lawyers, said he was now ready to refund the N400 million traced to his company, which is believed to be part of the $2.1 billion arms cash allegedly diverted at the Office National Security Adviser (ONSA).

Compatriots who remember his earlier stance that he will never return the money have been having a field day, mocking the embattled Metuh despite his predicament. Read all they are saying below…
