WHY KEFEE SHUT BRANAMA KITCHEN

CONTRARY to the tale making the rounds that economic hardship has hit Kokoro crooner’s business, Branama Kitchen, the amiable lady, Kefee has refuted the tale.

Speaking to ENCOMIUM Weekly on Friday, December 20, 2013, “Branama Kitchen is not functioning because, we are restructuring and renovating ‎in order to serve our clients better. It is not true that we closed down because of harsh economic situation, poor patronage or poor management.  That is really far from the truth.

“We need to put some things ‎in place, give the place a facelift before we can commence operations again.  But sooner than you imagine, the place will open again.”

The tale of poor patronage and poor management were reasons stated by rumour mongers for closing down the place a couple of weeks back.

It was all over the social media that singer Kefee could not keep up with the ‎good works and standard ‎in which she laid the foundation of her food business.

They also alleged that since she will be away for sometimes because she has gone back to school abroad, she decided to put the place under lock and key.  Information pieced together by ENCOMIUM Weekly revealed that Kefee and her husband, Efosa travelled a couple of weeks back.  They both went to pursue special training and might not be back for a couple of months.

Kefee opened Branama Kitchen on Thursday, February 7, 2013. She also marked her birthday the same day. The event attracted crème la de crème in entertainment and other walks of life.

Located middle class of Mende, Maryland (Lagos), the kitchen was a place of refuge to hungry and thirsty souls before it was closed down for re structuring.
