Another British journalist, who has been held in Syria for more than two years, has been forced to appear in a new Islamic State video.
John Cantlie – seen dressed in an orange jumpsuit and sat behind a desk in the footage – says he has ‘nothing to lose’ and admits his ‘fate lies in the hands of the Islamic State’. Mr. Cantlie, apparently reading from an autocue, accused the western media of ‘twisting and manipulating the truth for the public back home’.
