Baba Suwe quashes death rumour

‘It’s a sign that I will live long’, he says

Popular comic actor, Alhaji NurudeenBabatunde Omidina (Baba Suwe) has rubbished social media report that he has passed on. He added that though it’s not a good story, it’s still a sign that he will live long.
Speaking with encomium.ng on Wednesday, April 19, 2017, the Oluaye of comedy, as Baba Suwe is also known, expressed total discomfort about the publication. He described it as nothing but frivolous and baseless, labeling those behind it as wicked souls. He therefore enjoined his teeming fans and the general public to disregard the publication outrightly as there is no iota of truth in it.
“I am fed up with the way some people will just sit somewhere and start fabricating stories about another person for reasons best known to them. Most of the stories are not even close to the truth. Imagine somebody posting my death story when I am very much alive, hale and hearty. I was shocked when they called my attention to it. How can someone somewhere just decide to cause panic among my fans and family? It’s unfair. I am very much alive. Some people are only just being wicked.
“I believe you know my voice .That alone has confirmed to you that I am alive hale and hearty, no shaking. Even, as we speak, I am driving to a movie location.
“Anyway, I can’t fight or curse anybody on that, I believe they are only wishing me long life. Although, it’s not a good story, it’s a sign that I will live long. I am not bothered at all.”
