Beyonce is highest-paid woman in music!

Super star singer and wife of rap mogul (Jay-Z), Beyonce has become the highest-paid woman in music after she earned $115m (N18.4bn) this year (June 2013 – June 2014), according to Forbes.

The 33-year-old mother-of-one rose from fourth last year and is well ahead of second-placed Taylor Swift, who earned $64m (N10.24bn).

Also in the top ten are Pink – 3rd ($52m, N8.32bn); Rihanna – 4th ($48m, N7.68bn); Katy Perry – 5th ($40m, N6.4bn); Jennifer Lopez – 6th ($37m, N5.92bn); Miley Cyrus – joint 7th ($36m, N5.76bn); Celine Dion – joint 7th ($36m, N5.76bn); Lady Gaga – 9th ($33m, N5.28bn) and Britney Spears – 10th ($20m, N3.2bn).
