Alhaji Aliko Dangote, chairman at the wedding reception of Temi Otedola and Mr Eazi (Tosin Ajibade) in Iceland on August 8, 2025, admitted that Femi Otedola is his only brother outside of his family.
Africa’s richest man and President of the Dangote Group spoke about his bond with the Chairman of First HoldCo PLC and Geregu Power PLC at the magical nuptials. He maintained that both of them are always together, and are more than friends.

Dangote, dressed in a tuxedo (like most of the male guests), spoke for about 6 minutes praising the parents of the couple, bride and groom, and thanking the guests who created time to honour the Otedolas and Ajibades.
The August 8 wedding in Iceland began at the Hallgrimskirkja Church in Reykjavik, followed with a reception at Kleif Farm in Morfellsbaer.
And the chairman of the wedding reception, Alhaji Aliko Dangote was more than happy. He said about his closeness to Otedola:
“Femi is not really my friend only, he’s my brother. Wherever you see me, you see Femi. So he’s my very, very, very good friend and a brother also. And if there’s any brother that I have that’s not (from) the same mother or father, that brother is Femi. So I’m really, really very delighted today.”
Dangote went further to advise the couple on how to elongate their marriage, and encouraging them on their entrepreneurial journey.
The colourful reception, with John Legend on the piano at some point, was also attended by Alhaji Abdulsamad Rabiu, the dollar-billionare chairman of the BUA Group.
The 3-city celebrations—from Monte Carlo on May 9, Dubai (July 5) and Reykjavik (August 8)—reportedly cost over $15 million.
