Forget the brave front members of the church put up in defence of the troubled preacher, it ends just there. The reality is that some families disagree violently at their various homes on their pastor’s marital squabbles.
While some support Pastor Anita, those who have followed Oyakhilome from the beginning are scolding the Vice President of Believers LoveWorld and co author of Rhapsody of Realities for not protecting her husband and saving the image of the church.
There are equally some members who believe the couple are to blame for their inability to manage their differences, even as many are indifferent to the marital issue. To this group, coming to church has little to do with their pastors’ behaviour or conduct, but all about God.
