It’s now official that host of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, TV personality and compere, Frank Edoho will anchor the second edition of Club Ultimate, holding in Lagos on December 13 and 14, 2013, at Oceanview, Eko Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos.

Club Ultimate, a never-seen-before city to city club experience, will transform Oceanview, Victoria Island, Lagos with a spectacular night of whimsical world class stunts, music and theatrics, delivering the ultimate clubbing experience ever.

Frank Edoho who has perfected the act of compeering over the years will be the soul of the exclusive event which will feature a glam red carpet team, four of the hottest DJs in Nigeria, and a special surprise package that would set the standards of what to expect at an unusual clubbing event.

DEJI LAURENT’S EVDI, BIIRE FOUNDATION WALK AGAINST AIDS

Eti Osa Youth Development Initiative (EVDI) operated by man-about-town, Ayodeji Laurent and Biire Child and Maternal Health Foundation staged a landmark event in Lagos on Saturday, December 7, 2013. The two organizations hosted the second annual Lagos AIDS walk and benefit concert. The event which was the second for both organizations and the largest AIDS related event in Nigeria attracted over 3,000 participants from diverse background.

This year’s walk tagged, Lagos AIDS Walk was in support of those living with HIV/AIDS and to sustain the awareness of the disease prevention (particularly new infections and mother to child transmission). It was also a forum to remember those who have died as a result of the dreaded disease.

According to the organizer, Ayodeji Laurent, the event is in collaboration with the Lagos State Agency for the Control of AIDS.

“We are using this opportunity to contribute to the attainment of testing 1.3 milion Lagosians before the end of the year, hence this walk was centered particularly around the youths to know their HIV status and there is no better place to kick start this campaign than in the heart of Obalende community. The community has a lot of high risk groups which include commercial sex workers, intravenous drug users and high population of highly mobile military personnel.”

Chairman, Lagos Island LGA, Comrade Kamai O Salau-Bashua has commissioned a borehole in remembrance of the late chairman of MIC, Tunji Okunsanya.
