Complaints will vary from minor to major, and may escalate rapidly from one to another. Complaints might emerge from many quarters: students, staff, parents, and even members of the public.
However, young adults talk about their parents’ major complaints about them…
AJUMOBI ESTHER
My parents’ major complaint is that I should stop going to clubs and also stop taking alcohol.
AKINDELE TOLANI
My parents’ major complaint was for me to stop having boyfriend, they will always say it’s too early for me. But I already have someone I love.
EDET RACHEAL
My parents’ major complaint is about my schooling. Ever since l was out of secondary school, she has always bothered me to further even when I told her I didn’t make my JAMB. She will always complain, though it has been two years now.
OPEOLUWA YOMI
My parents’ major complaint is to stop smoking. I love to smoke, it gets me high. So most times just to satisfy her, I will smoke outside before coming home. But once she sees me, she will know and complain again. But to say the truth, l am addicted to it.
ABAYOMI TIMILEHIN
My parents’ major complaint is funny though, my mother in particular. She will complain all the time about me being untidy and not neat.
ALAO JUMMY
I will say my mother’s complain because my dad is no more. So her complain is for me to learn vocation. I am out of school this year and was waiting to get JAMB form next year. So I want to spend the remaining months this year relaxing. But she insisted that instead of sleeping why don’t l go learn something.
AKINYEMI BARAKA
I am a drop out and my parents’ major complaint was to get a job for myself even if it a sales girl job, instead of sitting at home. I’ve tried and there was none but she will complain that I’m being lazy.
FRANCIS FAITH
My parents’ major complaint is funny, especially my mum’s. She has always complained about my dressing, wearing short dresses and skirts, open tops and all. Sometimes she wouldn’t let me out until I change into another wear.
AJEWOLE TOSIN
My parents’ major complaint about me is to go to church, during the week for service and Sundays. It’s always tiring and boring cause I love to party.
DUROJAYE FOLAKE
My parents’ major complaint is about sluggishness. My mum complains all the time that l am sluggish which I’m not.
