ESE Walter, the pretty former member of Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA), who exposed her affair with her pastor, Abiodun Fatoyinbo, is now married!
Ese Walter tied the knot with Benny Ark, a broadcaster with 96.9 Cool FM, Abuja, on Saturday, February 15, 2014. The news of their wedding was actually made public via a tweet by the designer of the bride’s wedding dress.
Ese, it would be remembered, was bold enough to expose her love affair with Abuja popular pastor and General Overseer of COZA. Shocking the world with the revelation in her blog, the sexy and beautiful damsel alleged that Pastor Fatoyinbo lured her to commit adultery with him in a London hotel. And personally ashamed and hurt by the affair, Miss Walter said she had to go public for the sake of other innocent ladies in the church attended by high-heeled Abuja residents.
To corroborate Ese Walter’s story, another COZA female member equally alleged she was almost raped by the randy, handsome and sweet-talking cleric not long ago. Despite the controversy the sex scandal generated, Pastor Biodun remained calm and only made a veiled reference to the allegation in the next Sunday’s service after Ese’s caustic outburst.
Media attention had shifted from COZA until the ‘man of God’ got a posh car gift, a Rolls Royce, from popular American preacher, Dr. Mike Murdock. He was in Nigeria early this year for a Christian programme tagged, 12 Days of Glory, a yearly conference organized by COZA. Murdock also made lifetime commitments to Pastor Fatoyinbo’s kids whom he included in his Will.
And few months after Ese Walter, a one-time leading protocol ‘official’ of COZA took to her blog to expose her pastor’s lust for his female church members and her own bitter experience. She has now found love in a staff of Cool FM 96.9, Abuja.
This is how Benny Ark described himself in his official profile on Cool 96.9 FM, Abuja, the nation’s No. 1 hit music station: “Hmm…my name is Benny Ark real name no gimmicks, known as d Ark of Cool…born on the 8th of March, a 6ft 3 inches tall, dark n good looking brutha so they say…who? Ask them naaaah! They also say I av a deep baritone smooth voice dat impresses hearts so gently lyk d sound of music of a sweet melody…so they so…”
Of Esan-Edo origin, Benny Ark is a graduate of Business Administration, Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, Edo State. He joined Cool FM, Abuja after he won the second edition of The Broadcaster, the radio reality competition sponsored by Cool FM. And on a mission to take over the world, he admits having great love for music, movies, travelling, meeting people and a weakness for beautiful women without whom the world would be boring and colourless.
The Ark of Cool FM was born and bred in Kaduna city. He speaks Hausa and Yoruba.
He was allegedly in a serious relationship with a lady that works with a popular telecom company in Abuja before he found love in amazingly beautiful Ese Walter.
They kicked off their marital journey on Saturday, February 15, 2014, with a registry marriage in Abuja. Ese and Benny would wed next month.
ENCOMIUM Weekly was also reliably informed that the Cool FM OAP actually met Ese Walter at COZA where both were protocol officials before they quit the church.
Like Benny Ark, Ese Walter is also a radio presenter with Love FM 104.5, Abuja. Her story in her words: “I was a 
lawyer. No, a qualified Barrister. I studied Law to Masters level before realizing it wasn’t what I wanted to do. How on God’s green earth was I going to make a switch from Law to media with no media background whatsoever? Well, I just did it. You see, my mantra for 2013 was ‘Just do it!’ Yes, like the Nike ad. So, instead of bickering, planning, thinking and sourcing for start-up capital, I just started where I was. I went to radio stations to pitch my idea and got a spot in Love FM 104.5 (I am still deeply appreciative of that opportunity).
“Six months down the road, I am still getting clearer and clearer on where I want to go with Femina Speaks (her show) and it has been an interesting dream come true for me.”
Ese, whose blog, Ese Walter has over 300,000 hits quit blogging on January 7, 2014, to focus on her website.
And a visit to her site was all it took ENCOMIUM Weekly to confirm her wedding to Benny Ark. Decorated with their lovely wedding photographs, Ese Walter, in a tweet linked to the portal, confessed @esewalter, ‘he’s my lover and best friend.”
We also tried to reach her through her e-mail, [email protected] but she didn’t get back to us before we went to press.
Benny Ark has, however, been receiving congratulatory messages from his over 5,000 followers. When a follower @aigbugui tweeted @bennyark, “Good one. And congrats on the nuptials, Benny Ark @bennyark replied: “this was court registry bruv. Nuptials is in March.”
