The Beat 99.9 FM delivers land titled documents to winner of 5th anniversary major giveaway!

Aberin Kazeem Olanrewaju has officially emerged a proud owner of a plot of land after being handed the titled documents to his new property!

Olanrewaju had randomly emerged winner of the landed property after a raffle draw, drawn from names of active followers of the urban radio station – as part of its giveaway prizes during its 5th anniversary celebrations.

The joyous youth could only gush in appreciation. “I feel good, I feel on top of the world! Words can’t really define how I feel. I must say thank you to Beat FM, I didn’t see this coming. They have really started a big thing in my life.”

The brief but colourful handover held on Tuesday, October 21, 2014, at the Beat 99.9 FM office, Ikoyi (Lagos), attracted a handful of press men as well as rap stars, including M.I Abaga, fiery singer, Yemi Alade and lyricist, Mode 9, who all joined in to cheer the ecstatic lad.

Mr. Seyi Ayeni, the MD of Pacis Multiplex Ltd, the real estate company behind the initiative, while speaking to newsmen, expressed delight at being able to award the plot of land in collaboration with Beat FM. “We are in the business of making people landlords.

Today Kazeem is a proud owner of a plot of land measuring 60 by 180 in Awesome View estate, a well planned estate in Wood Island, Ikorodu. Landed properties are a good gift. Real estate has to do with the future. It’s something to leave for the family or children. It’s an inheritance, an asset.”

Officials on hand to present the gift included Mr. Okwui Ubosi, Financial Director (Megalectrics Ltd  operators of Beat 99.9, Naija FM 102.7 and Classic FM 97.3), Amira Obi-Okoye, Sales Director, Megalectrics, and Olisa Adibua, Programmes Director (PD) Beat fm, amongst others.

Beat FM PD, Olisa Adibua was quoted as saying “We’ve been constantly overwhelmed by the amount of patronage and followership we’ve managed to garner in just over five years. Ideally, we’d love to have been able to reward every single listener on Beat fm but unfortunately we can’t. But what we can do is make a promise that we would not let our standards fall and we’ll work even harder to improve the quality of our station.”
