Tinubu’s granddaughter christened Amira Titilayo Noella Rose Simisola Ashabi

The one week old granddaughter of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu was christened this morning (Friday, June 9, 2017) in New Cavendish (Westminster, London, the United Kingdom) to the delight of parents and family as well as associates and friends.

Seyi and Layal Tinubu’s daughter (born on Friday, June 2, at The Portland Hospital for Women and Children in Marylebone, West End) was named Amira Titilayo Noella Rose Simisola Ashabi.
The pillar of democracy and national leader of All Progressives Congress was joyous as he cradled the tot lovingly as his son and daughter-in-law looked on.
Senator Tokunbo Afikuyomi was one of the guests at the simple ceremony.
The son of the Jagaban Bogu and Senator Oluremi Tinubu wedded his Lebanese wife on August 9 and 10, 2016, in Lake Como (Italy). But a ceremony a day earlier in Lagos witnessed by the pillars of high society, Nigeria business and politics was staged at the Iga Iduganran palace of Oba of Lagos, His Royal Majesty Rilwan Akiolu (Olowo Eko omo Erin j’ogun ola) set the tone for the spectacular wedding.
A solemnization at 11 am was followed by a colourful reception that August 8, 2016.
A traditional wedding in Accra  (Ghana) on November 6, 2015, heralded the nuptials of the long time lovers.
Thereafter, the couple left public space to enjoy their union…until the arrival of their first child on Friday, June 2.
