Wuraola issued 30-day ultimatum: Inside the marriage dossier of Ooni (10)

Olori Wuraola Zaynab Otiti Ogunwusi, now separated from the Ooni of Ife (Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi), didn’t wait for the 30-day ultimatum given her to remove her personal effects from the palace in Ile Ife (Osun state) expire.

The Benin princess removed her ‘belongings’ on Saturday, August 19, 2017 – on the 11th day after the ultimatum was issued.
Once it became clear that the marriage was fatally wounded and truce almost impossible, the Ooni issued his wife of 16 months an ultimatum to remove her things from the palace.
At the time, both lived separate lives. And had begun to shun each other in public as the Lagos airport scene of Saturday, August 12, where both didn’t even acknowledge one another showed.
The Ooni was said to have been so upset and issued the ultimatum, which Olori Wuraola didn’t allow to expire before she moved her things.
There are many versions of why their marriage troubles worsened, but incompatibility tops the list, with moves to take another wife a source of constant disagreement…
