‘Olori Wuraola has not given us any money’ – Hearts of Gold on Give Back concert

Hearts of Gold Hospice has confirmed that Olori Wuraola Zaynab Otiti Ogunwusi has not parted with the money promised from her Give Back concert, six months after the event!

Mrs. Laja Adedoyin spoke with encomium.ng this afternoon (Tuesday, August 29) about the cheque promised her hospice and 19 other homes at the February 24, 2017, initiative of the now estranged wife of Ooni of Ife (Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi).
At 1:10 pm, encomium.ng called Mrs. Adedoyin about the pledge from the charity initiative of Olori Wuraola, and she confirmed that her hospice was yet to get a cheque.
Many observers had thought the cheque exchanged hands last week after Olori Wuraola visited the hospice on Sunday, August 20, 2017. The visit was publicised on sites across the world.
But when we called Mrs. Adedoyin, she denied receiving a cheque.
Our calls to Olori Wuraola all through Monday (August 28) and Tuesday (August  29) concerning the issue have not been addressed as we were promised a return call.
The publicised visit of Olori Wuraola upset Mrs. Adedoyin as both agreed not to allow the pictures on social media. But the pictures were splashed on scores of platforms thereafter to the embarrassment of Mrs Adedoyin who protested the breach of trust.
Olori Wuraola has been in the news for more than two weeks following her troubled marriage to the Ooni of Ife. Many sensational details flew all over the Internet about the 16-month now ill-fated union.
Cracks in the wedlock became public when the royal couple ignored one another at Lagos airport on Saturday, August 12. By Monday, August 14, sites announced the collapse of the marriage.
On Saturday, August 19, news filtered in that Olori Wuraola’s ‘belongings’ were moved by a truck from the palace in Ile Ife (Osun state).
The Benin princess was said to be considering making Abuja her new home…
