20 days after being acquitted Lagos HOS resumes duty

20 days after she and her husband were acquitted by an Abuja High Court, Mrs Olabowale Ademola, the embattled Head of Service for Lagos state has resumed duty at her office at Public Service Office (PSO), Lagos secretariat, Alausa, Ikeja, Lagos.
She resumed on Tuesday, April 25, 2017, amid jubilation among staffers of the PSO.
Mrs Ademola, we gathered, had asked for leave of absence during the trial which was granted by the governor.
This was in December 2016, and the governor immediately appointed Mrs Folashade Sidikatu Adesoye as the acting Head of Service then.
Encomium.ng gathered that Mrs Folashade Adesoye who was the permanent secretary in the Ministry of Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation has proceeded on leave because she cannot go back to her former position.
When we contacted Mr Steve Ayorinde, the commissioner for Information and Strategy, he confirmed that Mrs Ademola has actually resumed in her office.
Mrs Ademola and her husband, Justice Adeniyi Ademola were discharged and acquitted by Justice Jude Okeke of Abuja High Court on the 18 count corruption charges levelled against them by EFCC for want of evidence.
