A calf – born with a third eye in the middle of its forehead two weeks ago – has hailed as a blessing and a spiritual icon by Hindus in Southern India.
The baby cow – named Shiva – has been described as a miracle, while many believe the calf is the reincarnation of three-eyed Hindu God of the same name. Children have been touching the cute animal on the head, believing it will bring good fortune.
In Hinduism, Shiva is regarded as one of the primary gods and patron of yoga and arts.
