Check the songs we love the most this year

The music we listen to and how it appeals to us differs, especially the hip hop songs. encomium.ng sampled opinions of hip hop
lovers to know their favourite songs this year and why they enjoy them.
Below are their responses.

Abiodun Alex

IF by Davido. I love the song so much I can listen to it many times. If Davido has never existed I wouldn’t get to hear his great new single, IF.

Dupe Folawo
JUICE by Ycee. I love the fun beat and rhythm and how Ycee acted so cool in the video. The song was fantastic.

Bode Afolabi
SOFA by Kiss Daniel. I like the song because its like raggae, it gives me an impression of a mix of Bob Marley and modern hip hop. Its infused reggae rhythms usually makes me dance.

Toyosi Biobaku
FOR LIFE by Runtown. When I listen to the song it makes my forget my stress and get me moving.

Wasiu Obafemi
YAWA by Tekno. It just happens to be one of my best songs by Tekno. The guy hit it this time.

Feyi Fabunmi
LIVING THINGS by 9ice ft Davido. It is a song very close to my heart. It ticks all the right boxes of me. The track got better with blessed verse from Davido on this remix.

Tunde Owolabi
WAVY LEVEL by Olamide. It is a fresh song from YBNL boss. I really love the song but not one of the best songs from Olamide. It’s popping though.

Ridwan Oladipupo
TGIF by 9ice. I like the song because it inspires and motivate me.

Chibuka Okechukwu
I like MAD OVER YOU by Runtown. It really gets me crazy because I am addicted to the sound. I don’t mind the meaning of the words only the beats I enjoy more.

Seun Olufunwape
NOBODY UGLY by Psquare. Psquare’s has taken music to the top. The music portrays reality about ladies in Nigeria, how most live fake life. I also like the beat and verses.

Semilore Adams
SMILE FOR ME by Simi. This song sets the bar high on 2017. The music is outstanding, it is creative and I love the lyrical content.
