Inside the wondrous wedding of Quincy’s daughter (3)

‘I feel fulfilled’- DR. (MRS.) QUINCY AYODELE

How would you describe the ceremony?

I am happy for a successful event.  I feel fulfilled. I have two daughters and the two are now married.  I thank Almighty God for making it happen.  I am grateful to God for a wonderful day like this.

Your first daughter got married few years back, why do you think it took the second this long?

The gap is not much.  Besides, my first daughter is 29 and the second is 26.  So, the age difference of three years is not that bad.  The most important thing is they are happily married and I wish them a happy married life.

The bride is very close to you, how have you spoken to her about marriage?

Marita is very close to me just as the rest of my children.  I have already told her to be humble, respect her husband and submit to him just like her mother has been doing to her father and above all, love God.

‘They should love each other’- OTUNBA ADEREMI ABDUL-BOJELA

Tell us briefly about yourself.

I am Otunba Aderemi Abdul-Bojela from Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State. I am an industrialist and also an entrepreneur.  The groom is my first son.  My first three children are boys and I have girls too.  Today is a very happy day for all of us, we are grateful to God.

What was your first impression about Kunle’s wife on your first encounter?

Kunle and I share the same building in my work place.  So, we are extremely close as father and son.  At his age, I expect he should be in a relationship and of course, he made his choice and I am happy with the choice.

Your prayers and advice to them?

Marriage is a union of two people from different background, but once they come together, the differences will dissolve and then you have common approach to life.  Marriage has its own ups and downs but the most important thing is to love each other, stick together till the end.
