Christ Embassy’s Senior Pastors are deliberately avoiding discussing issues related to their leader’s marital crisis. That was the situation when our reporter called at the church’s headquarters on Kudirat Abiola Way, Oregun, Ikeja, Lagos, on Sunday, August 31, 2014.
All the places of worship at the sprawling corporate office of Believer’s Love World went on with the normal Sunday activities without any of the presiding pastors alluding to Chris/Anita marital woe.
Even when we cornered some of Christ Embassy members and officials to comment on the alleged adultery rocking the church in the UK, South Africa and Nigeria, our man was outrightly rebuffed and advised to mind his business.
Repeated efforts to speak with multiple sources we’ve cultivated over the years also did not yield any fruit. Christ Embassy had not released official statement on the allegation that Pastor Anita Oyakhilome has sued the billionaire pastorpreneur until we went to press.
