The security operatives manning, Glonik Hotel on Social Club Road, Abule Egba, Lagos where some people were caught lifting fuel illegally, have vacated the site, if the information at encomium.ng’s disposal is anything to go by.
According to information, the men of OP MESA who were deployed to the place since the discovery of the illegal bunker are no longer on parade and all the barricades on the roads have been finally removed.
encomium.ng’s visit to the spot on Monday, November 20 confirmed the situation as no security man was sighted in the vicinity, but the hotel still remained sealed and in a complete blackout.
A resident who spoke to us under the condition of anonymity said, “It’s like there are no military men around Glonik Hotel again since about a few days ago. As you can see, they have dismantled all the barricades here. And that’s why there’s free flow of vehicles now. The place still remains dark and sealed. You can notice the red inscription on the entrance, indicating that the place is still under lock and key. I learnt the whereabouts of the owner of the hotel is still unknown.”
