The Okoyes are working hard and smart in ensuring they give Mazi Moses Okoye, who passed away on Monday (November 24, 2014), a deserving farewell. And a series of meetings are being held over the burial arrangement. At the moment though, no date has been fixed yet.
The late Moses Okoye’s family and prominent church members are also having their separate meeting in the village (Ifite Dunu, Anambra State) at the moment. Whatever the outcome of their meeting will later be communicated to his children in Lagos. After which, the burial time table will be released officially.
No authentic information as regards where Okoye’s corpse was deposited. But encomium.ng learnt that it is a private mortuary around the Ojodu and Ikeja axis, Lagos.
However,there is likelihood of late Okoye’s body being deposited at Bemil, Ojodu, Lagos since it was the same place they took their mom’s corpse to after she died in 2012.
The septuagenarian father of Africa’s biggest pair (P Square) tragically passed on after suffering a relapse of his respiratory problems in the Omole, Lagos home of his sons.
