As daughter delivers baby girl in the US
Fountain of Life Church Senior Pastor, Taiwo Odukoya is now a grandfather. His delectable daughter, Tolu Ijogun (nee Odukoya) put to bed a baby girl in the United States of America. Family sources put the date of delivery at Sunday, September 8, 2013. Both baby and mother are said to be in good shape. The latest joyous arrival has since sent waves of celebration to the families of Odukoya and Ijogun.
ENCOMIUM Weekly was told Pastor Taiwo Odukoya jetted out to the US for the naming ceremony which held on Sunday, September 15, 2013.
According to our source, who wouldn’t want to be mentioned, “Yes, it is true, Tolu has delivered a baby girl and his dad (Pastor Odukoya) travelled to the US for the naming. Only few people in the church are aware of this, but I am sure the announcement will be made in this Sunday service”.
The newly delivered mother who presently works with Glaxo Smithkline, Ilupeju, Lagos, will be in the United States for close to three months before returning home.
Many of her friends in the UK and America have been very busy on her facebook page sending congratulatory messages to her. Her only response to the barrage of messages posted on her wall is just, Thank you all for the congratulatory messages…we bless God.
Tolu Ijogun, an alumnus of Greensprings School, Lagos and Oral Roberts University, United States, is the first child between Pastor Taiwo Odukoya and his late wife, Pastor Bimbo Odukoya. Her other siblings are Jimi Odukoya, who got married to Kemi Banjoko recently in London and Tobi (a girl), the youngest of the three.
Pastor Taiwo Odukoya has since remarried and has added two kids to his number of children. His new wife, a South African pastor, Rosemary Odukoya has the two children for him (all boys).
Tolu Ijogun and her childhood sweet heart, Olumide Ijogun exchanged marital vows on Saturday, November 3, 2011, at the Fountain of Life Church new auditorium in llupeju, Lagos. It was a talk of the town wedding which had in attendance, Pastor E. A. Adeboye, Bishop Mike Okonkwo, Rev. Wilson Badejo, Rev. Felix Meduye. A lavish reception later that day held at The Haven Event Centre, GRA, Ikeja, Lagos.
Tolu Ijogun, apart from being the product manager at Glaxo Smithkline, is also a singer.
