Bags and clutches are as old as fashion itself. They come in variety of shapes, sizes and colours and they serve different purposes.
Today, you hardly see a lady without a bag or a clutch depending on the occasion.
ENCOMIUM Weekly sought from some ladies the reason for this craze among ladies and even teenagers. And here are their responses.

It’s not a direct answer for me because bags and clutches serve different purposes. It depends on the outfit that will determine which to take. I use both. If my outfit suits bag, I will take a bag out, and if it’s a clutch that goes with it, that’s what I will go for. But I mostly use clutch/purse when I’m going on a casual outing.

I will prefer a handbag to a clutch because a handbag is spacious. I can’t carry a clutch to a formal interview. Handbag works well on every attire, be it traditional or English wear.

I prefer clutch than bag, because it’s portable, easy to carry and fashionable as well.

I like clutch, but it depends. If I’m going to a party, I will love to go with a clutch. But if it is work or I’m going out and it will take me one or two days, I will prefer a bag.

I love bags and clutches, each has its suitable occasion. I can’t do without a clutch if am going out, especially the expensive ones.
